Barcelona – Real Madrid live: El Clasico result & highlights

Summer is well on its way and we are finally getting the first El Clasico of the season between Real Madrid and FC Barcelona. The Soccer Champions Tour 2023 will have the two biggest Spanish clubs facing each other at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Coach Carlo Ancelotti’s squad has already struggled to beat AC Milan in the pre-season opener but they didn’t suffer against Manchester United during the second game of the season. Unfortunately, they are missing newcomer Arda Güler, who is missing the game due to a recent knee injury. Barcelona comes with a defeat in the first pre-season game they played against Arsenal last season. They arrive also with the uncertainty of Ousmane Dembele and how they are being tempted by PSG on a possible transfer.

Barcelona vs Real Madrid: Live Updates of El Clasico from the AT&T Stadium in Texas

If there is a game that will serve as a great way to test the newcomers and start getting rhythm, this is exactly that game. Follow all the live updates of this season’s first El Clasico between Real Madrid and FC Barcelona right here! The Soccer Champions Tour 2023 will have its biggest game yet.

AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas is the place where Real Madrid and FC Barcelona will play the first El Clasico of the season that is about to begin. We are not expecting a overly competitive game because both sides are only starting the pre-season and none of them want to risk any injuries by going hard. Even though we are talking about El Clasico, there is no reason to get too aggressive. In terms of times these two have played in 2023, we have already seen four games with FC Barcelona taking the best potential results on 3 victories over one Real Madrid defeat.

Xavi Hernandez’s chance to confirm his claim as Barcelona’s main man

Coach Xavi Hernandez is coming from winning La Liga last season in the middle of complete institutional chaos that didn’t prevent them from winning La Liga tournament against Real Madrid. The challenge this season is to aim for a decent Champions League performance and try to repeat La Liga success from last season. Carlo Ancelotti enters his final year with Los Blancos right in the middle of some transfer drama with Kylian Mbappe. Meanwhile, Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo Goes appear ready to continue the positive dynamic from the first two pre-season games. Ancelotti and company just got the bad news that Arda Güler picked up a meniscus injury that forced him to return to Madrid in order to begin his recovery process.

Follow all the live updates of this season’s first El Clasico that is taking place in the continental United States of America. As soccer fever takes a new high with Lionel Messi’s arrival to Inter Miami, this is a perfect opportunity for both Real Madrid and Barcelona to keep trying to pull Americans to further soccer consumption from this side of the pond. Real Madrid arrives with much more confidence than FC Barcelona, simply judging by the most recent results they had in this pre-season start.
