Galaxy A54 getting Android 14 (One UI 6.0) beta update in the UK

On Friday, Samsung started rolling out the beta version of Android 14 (One UI 6.0) to the Galaxy A54 in South Korea. Needless to say, this update will be available to only those devices that are enrolled in the One UI 6.0 Beta Program.

Galaxy A54 gets One UI 6.0 beta update in the UK

The Android 14-based One UI 6.0 software update for Galaxy A54 in the UK carries firmware version A546BXXU5ZWI1. Apart from all the bells and whistles that come as a part of Android 14 and One UI 6.0, the update also brings the September 2023 security patch, which fixes 62 security vulnerabilities. The size of the installation package is 2,268.55MB. So, make sure that you are on Wi-Fi before downloading the update to avoid carrier data charges.

Although the One UI 6.0 Beta is quite stable in its current form, it is beta software nonetheless. So, it might have bugs and reliability issues, which could hinder the standard functionality of the device. So, keep that in mind before installing the update. As usual, make sure to back up your data before starting the installation process.

How to enroll in the Galaxy A54 One UI 6.0 Beta Program

Once you’ve enrolled your Galaxy A54 in the One UI 6.0 Beta Program by clicking the One UI 6 banner on the Samsung Members app’s home page, check for the latest update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. Samsung might be rolling out the update in phases. So, it is likely that a few users might get the update before others.

You can check all the major One UI 6.0 features in our in-depth video below.

Samsung will most likely kick off the One UI 6.0 Beta Program for the Galaxy A54 in other countries like Germany, India, Poland, and the US in the coming days. So, keep checking the Samsung Members app if you are interested in the update.

Apart from the Galaxy A54, Samsung has rolled out the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 beta update to the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra. The Galaxy S22 series is expected to get the One UI 6.0 beta update soon. Even the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and the Galaxy Z Fold 5 could get access to the One UI 6.0 beta update in the coming days.
