Terence Crawford is the undisputed welterweight champion. Referee Harvey Dock waves it off after Errol Spence Jr. continues to sustain punishment in Round 9 Saturday night in Las Vegas, in one of the most-anticipated fights in years which will crown the best welterweight in the world.
The fight at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas was for the undisputed welterweight championship. Spence (28-1, 22 KOs) of Desoto, Texas, was the WBC, WBA and IBF welterweight champion, while Crawford (40-0, 31), of Omaha, Nebraska had the WBO belt in the 147-pound division.
Crawford, 35, a three-division champion and a former undisputed junior welterweight champion, is now undisputed in a second weight class.
