Taylor Swift stepped out for dinner with a number of her A-list pals on Monday, at Italian eatery Il Buco Alimentari & Vineria in New York.

The Bad Blood hitmaker, 33, was joined by Barbie director Greta Gerwig, 40, after fans recently joked that the women ‘saved the US economy‘ — Greta with her billion dollar movie, and Swift with her record-breaking Eras tour.

The ladies also dined with Laura Dern, 56 — who starred in Swift’s Bejeweled music video — and Batman star Zoe Kravitz, 34.

Swift looked stylish for the night, wearing a black mini dress with knee-high Christian Louboutin boots.

The singer finalized the look with a plaid grey coat and a black purse.

Swift wore her blonde tresses back in a chic bun for the night.

She accentuated her pout with red lipstick and accessorized with dangling earrings and a gold necklace.

Meanwhile Gerwig wore a flowing black dress with matching loafers. She teamed the look with a stylish light pink Gucci crossbody bag.

The Lady Bird director wore her blonde bob styled into light waves.

Dern was casual cool in a denim jacket over a red turtleneck sweater. The actress donned black pants and white sneakers for the night.

She spruced up her look with a gold chain necklace and chunky gold ring. She wore her blonde tresses down and lightly curled.

Zoe was fashionable in a mint trench coat, which she paired with oversized slacks.

The daughter of rock star Lenny Kravitz wore a navy baseball hat over her black tresses and sported a large cream tote bag on her shoulder.

Dern and Kravitz were seen sharing a hug goodbye following the successful dinner.

Certainly the ladies had much to talk about over dinner, following the success of Swift’s ongoing tour and Gerwig’s Barbie cinema hit.

Some Swift fans have claimed that the singer has stopped the U.S. from falling into recession, after The Eras Tour was projected to generate close to $5 billion in consumer spending.

Keeping the economy afloat: Fans of Swift and Gerwig previously joked that the ladies were keeping the U.S. economy afloat with their successful careers

‘If Taylor Swift were an economy, she’d be bigger than 50 countries,’ stated Dan Fleetwood, President of QuestionPro Research and Insights, in a story for GlobalNewsWire

Meanwhile Gerwig’s Barbie passed Marvel’s The Avengers as the 11th highest-grossing movie of all time at the domestic box office, with $626.1 million.

Barbie has also taken in $1.416 billion at the worldwide box office, which is good for 14th place globally.

While the foursome could have discussed their impact on the US economy, they also might have reminisced on the time Dern starred in one of Swift’s videos.

The Oscar-winner even previously recalled how a young fan recognized her from the Bejeweled video, and not from her iconic Jurassic Park role.

She shared the hilarious anecdote on Jimmy Kimmel Live in January, recalling how she was at a friend’s farm in Oahu, where she filmed the original Jurassic Park (1993).

‘I was coming out of their farm, and there’s a guided tour of “the sights of Jurassic Park” with a little sign saying “Welcome to Jurassic Park.” And as I was post-beach and seeing our friends, we’re getting in the car, and I’m standing right in front of the sign, and here comes a group of people.’

‘This girl comes running up to me and says, “Oh, my god! Oh, my god!” I was just like… “I just want to be with my family, let’s not do a whole Jurassic Park [thing],”‘ the star said.

‘She goes, ‘”Aren’t you the girl in the Taylor Swift video?”‘ Dern called the experience ‘amazing.’

Music video: Dern played the evil stepmother in Swift’s Cindarella-inspired Bejeweled music video in 2022; seen in a still from the video

She also gushed about working with Swift, who directed the video and played Cinderella, alongside Dern who was the evil stepmother and Haim sisters as the stepsisters.

‘Taylor asked me, and it sounded like such an incredible time. And I was amazed by what a great filmmaker she is, how prepared she was, how improvisational and fun it was. I had the time of my life. So, it was amazing.’

Swift also previously raved about Dern, calling her ‘the coolest’ for agreeing to star in the video.

The songstress joked that she got Dern to appear in the video by telling her she wrote a one-scene script where the actress would get to call her a ‘tired, tacky wench,’ during her appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in October.

‘And she was like, “I’m down,”‘ Swift shared, adding ‘She’s the coolest, she’s so funny.’
